Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that he wants peace in Afghanistan before the withdrawal of foreign troops.
“There is a lot of fear in Pakistan at the moment, and I can assure you that we will do our best to find a political solution to the problem of Afghanistan before the withdrawal of the United States,” Imran Khan told a British news agency. The Prime Minister said that India had crossed the red line by ending the status of occupied Kashmir, adding that Indian actions were illegal, against international law and UN resolutions.
He said he would have to take illegal steps to resume talks. But, if India gives a roadmap for Kashmir, then Pakistan is ready for talks.
The Prime Minister further says regional trade must be made to reduce poverty in the subcontinent.
