According to details, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has convened a meeting of the provincial cabinet on January 25 at 11 am. A 25-point agenda will be presented to the chief minister for approval. The meeting also discussed changes in the Ravi Urban Development Authority Act, spending the money left over from loan disbursements on sub-works of the authority, an alternative site for the Army Welfare Scheme in District Bhakkar, creation of a new tehsil in Muzaffargarh and Lahore Central Business District Development Authority. The agenda for the establishment of will be submitted for approval.
Apart from this, the creation of Sialkot Development Authority, the perpetuation of contract employees of Public Health and Engineering Department, creation of Thal University in Bhakkar, the setting of new fees, and registration of private wildlife breeding farms, provision of universal health insurance to 100% population of Punjab. Matters relating to the setting up of a permanent secretariat for the Council of Common Interest, including payment of allowances and perks to the Chairman, Punjab Women Protection Authority, will also be submitted for approval.
