ISLAMABAD: The government has challenged in the Supreme Court the decision to remove Shahbaz Sharif’s name from the blacklist.
The government has sought suspension of the Lahore High Court’s order, pending a decision on the appeal.
The petition contends that the apex court ruled unilaterally contrary to legal principles. There is no guarantee of Shahbaz Sharif’s return. His wife, son, daughter, and son-in-law wanted in the case are already absconding.
