Federal Interior Minister said Shahbaz Sharif’s name not included in exit control list: Sheikh Rashid Ahmed
Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has said that Shahbaz Sharif’s name has not been included in the exit control list.
A video statement issued by the Home Minister said that PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif had not been included in the ECL yet as the summary sent to the Cabinet for inclusion in the ECL has not been returned. The outline may come from the Cabinet Division on Monday or Tuesday.
Sheikh Rashid says that this is a case in which 14 accused are already on ECL. In this case, five accused of Shahbaz Sharif’s family are already absconding, and Shahbaz Sharif himself is the bail of his brother Nawaz Sharif.
He said that Shahbaz Sharif was not going directly to London. He first had to quarantine for 15 days in Qatar. The Federal Interior Minister said that we had not received any medical report of Shahbaz Sharif. Upon the return of the Cabinet summary, the Home Minister and the Law Minister will decide under the law on inclusion in the ECL. The public will have to wait until Monday or Tuesday.
The Home Minister said that SOPs were implemented by Pakistan Army, NCOC, and Police during Eid holidays and Lockdown. The people acted responsibly and implemented the SOPs. As a result, Corona rates have begun to decline in Pakistan. The number of patients infected with the virus in India has reached 4.5 million daily. He paid tribute to all the institutions of Pakistan.
