Pakistan IT industry is fastly growing, Federal Minister for IT & Telecommunication. On the direction of Federal Minister for IT & Telecommunication Syed Amin Ul Haque, the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication is taking special steps to increase IT exports.
ICT export remittances, including telecommunication, computer, and information services, have risen to the US $1.908 billions at a growth rate of 47.1% during July-May of FY 2020-21, in comparison to the US $1.297 billion during July-May of FY 2019-20, according to Pakistan Software Export Board, the attached department of Ministry of IT & Telecom.
Lauding the increase in IT exports, Federal Minister for IT & Telecom Syed Amin Ul Haque said this is the highest growth rate for FY 20-21 (July-May).
He said in a statement that every possible step is being taken to increase IT exports, adding that Pakistan’s IT industry is fastly growing.
The Federal Minister for IT appreciated the role of the Pakistan Software Export Board and the country’s IT industry.
