Islamabad: President Dr. Arif Alavi has said that Kashmiris and Palestinians are victims of atrocities and genocide. We need to make the world aware of Islamophobia.
Addressing the inaugural session of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) conference, he said, “We welcome parliamentary delegations. The Muslim world has faced difficult situations in the last six decades. ECO countries can play a role in enhancing cooperation in the region.”
He said that at this time, the world needs a leadership that serves humanity, a partnership between nations. The world has been shown the side of Islam, which is far from reality. We have to make the world aware of Islamophobia.
He further said that intolerance is a big obstacle in development. Unfortunately, intolerance is a big problem in our country. However, Pakistan has successfully dealt with the Corona crisis.
National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser said that Muslim countries must highlight the issue of Palestine in the true sense of the word. Speakers and delegations from member countries attended the ECO conference.
