India is celebrating Republic Day, but it is a dark day for the people of Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan, and all humans. President of AJK, Sardar Masood Khan
Muzaffarabad: The President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Sardar Masood Khan, has said that today India is celebrating Republic Day, but it is a dark day for the people of Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan, and all human beings in the world who believe in freedom and human dignity because the world India, which is the largest democracy in India, has based its empire on crimes against humanity.
In a special message on the occasion of Black Day being observed by Kashmiris on the occasion of Republic Day of India, President Sardar Masood Khan said that India had snatched the freedom of Kashmiris from them by occupying Jammu and Kashmir a few months after its independence.
He proved that India is a democratic state and not a country that believes in freedom, justice, equality, and universally recognized human rights.
He said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have been suffering from inhuman and degrading treatment for the last one year, but for the last one year, Narendra Modi’s BJP and RSS government have been oppressing Kashmiris.
All previous records of barbarism have been broken. The Modi government has not only besieged the Kashmiris by invading occupied Jammu and Kashmir again in 2019 but has also stripped them of their land, jobs, and businesses, leaving them landless, unemployed, and homeless on their own soil.
In his message, the Azad Kashmir president strongly condemned Indian oppression and killings, calling the Modi government’s decision to make the disputed state of Jammu and Kashmir part of the Indian federation unacceptable to Kashmiris.
He said that this move of India is a war crime, and the time is not far when the people of Jammu and Kashmir and the world will hold India accountable for these crimes.
On the occasion of Black Day, he called on the United Nations and influential countries of the world to intervene and save the people of Jammu and Kashmir from the tyranny of ruthless power.
He said that it was the primary responsibility of the multinational corporations believing in international law and international humanitarian law to come forward and save the innocent Kashmiris from the tyranny of the Indian Army and if they did so.
Failure to do so will make the UN Charter meaningless like a piece of paper. The President of Azad Kashmir said that the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan reiterated their commitment to bring down the Kashmiris who were martyred, injured, crippled, and blind.
We will keep the candle of freedom burning with our blood and liver until we get our birthright of self-determination according to the principles of justice.
