The government can only extend the term of the National Assembly, not the government, if this happens, it will be challenged in the court. As long as there is a majority in the National Assembly, the House is not considered incomplete. If the government has a majority, then a new law can be made.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that there is scope in the constitution to delay the elections but it is an unusual practice. Tehreek-e-Insaaf should have taken the first thought of resigning from the National Assembly, the day the President and the Speaker of the National Assembly broke the constitution together, now they will have to wait. Now the former army chief has also said that he was cooperated to complete the numbers of Imran Khan.

Only the courts can disqualify Imran Khan, not the government or the Election Commission. Imran Khan will be disqualified for 10 years according to the standard of justice imposed on Nawaz Sharif by the court. Imran Khan’s narrative is only to insult each other.
