Kabul: US withdrawal from Afghanistan accelerated. Half of the US troop withdrawal from Afghanistan has been completed, according to the Senate.
According to a foreign news agency, the Afghan official said the United States would evacuate Bagram Air Base in 20 days. US officials and the Afghan Ministry of Defense have set up special committees to oversee the airbase.
The Pentagon spokesman confirmed that the United States would hand over Bagram Air Base to Afghan security forces in a few days. Still, a Pentagon spokesman said the handover was part of an evacuation process. I cannot speculate on delivery time due to operational and security reasons.
