Anti-people government cannot make a people-friendly budget: Bilawal Bhutto.
Karachi: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the anti-people government cannot make a people-friendly budget.
In a statement on Saturday, he said that the budget prepared by the IMF’s salaried employees would be an attack on Pakistan’s sovereignty. Claiming to replenish the coffers with hard loans and unbearable taxes is not called economic growth.
He said that before every budget, it is announced that this will be a year of growth, and then the economic catastrophe continues. He said that if the familiar person of the country does not have money even to buy expensive medicine, then what will he do with the claims of filling the treasury?
The only measure of economic development in the civilized states of the world is that the commoner’s life is prosperous.
Chairman PPP said that PTI’s economic policies are not people-friendly but revolve around the interests of a few capitalists. He further said that PPP is the only political party in the country whose economic policies represent the people’s interests.
