A clear decrease in the remittances sent by overseas Pakistanis has been recorded in the month of January.
According to the details, a total of 1 billion 894.9 million dollars were sent to Pakistan by overseas Pakistanis in the month of January, the decrease recorded in remittances was on annual and monthly basis, overseas was sent on annual basis. A decrease of 13.14% was recorded in remittances.
On a monthly basis, remittances sent by overseas Pakistanis also decreased by 9.99%.
During the current fiscal year, overseas Pakistanis sent a total of 16 billion dollars in remittances to Pakistan from July to January. A decrease of 11% was recorded in remittances from July to January.
